Teacher Resource Center

MISSION STATEMENT The Teacher Resource Center, in a cooperative effort to motivate and energize professionals in education, is dedicated to serve as a center for innovative and creative development.

The Teacher Resource Center will provide an edifice for teachers to take charge of their own professional growth and afford them an opportunity to share with one another the wealth of expertise they possess.

The future goals of the Teacher Resource Center are to:

• Strengthen collaboration among teachers across disciplines
• Provide resources to create quality learning materials
• Provide professional development, training, and support
• Make available computers and other technologies for use and training

The Teacher Resource Center will provide the atmosphere and structure to promote sharing and increased understanding of resources, ideas, methods, approaches, information, and materials among educators.

TRC Workroom

A centrally located collection of equipment available for district wide use. Its purpose is to enhance curriculum in every subject and to help make teaching more visual,more inventive and more FUN!

What we have to offer:

• Die cuts (.pdf) (alphabets, borders, shapes and more....)
• Assorted sizes and colors of copy paper, card stock, tag board, and construction paper for workroom use.
• 27" heat seal laminator
• Poster machine
• Large paper cutters
• Electric staplers and 3-hole punch
• Resource books full of great ideas (Mailbox and other seasonal books)
• Workroom computer, scanner, laser and color printers
• Specialized equipment for use and checkout (including digital cameras & digital camcorder)
• And much, much more....

The TRC is a Make and Take Facility. We are not a supply store. Prudent use of equipment and supplies will assure the center's future generosity.

Other Areas and Items Available for Use:

• Conference and meeting areas - Call ahead to schedule the room or rooms that best suit your needs.
• Audiovisual equipment - LCD multimedia projectors, overhead machines and TV/VCR/DVD on cart.
• Computer Lab - 15 machine lab available for individual use or for small group training's. Equipped with scanner, CD/DVD burner, laser and color printers. Two laptops available for checkout.
