Software Management Support
The district uses Microsoft Office XP Professional for word processing, spreadsheet, and desktop databases. Microsoft SQL Server is used to support many of the larger databases (e.g. Tranquility, WinSnap, and MerakMail) which are housed on dedicated servers. Read 180, Carnegie Algebra, SASIxp, Follett Library Automation, and TextLink also use dedicated server databases but do not use SQL Server. |
