Los Lunas Schools that Participate in Provision II for Breakfast

Bosque Farms Elementary, Katherine Gallegos Elementary, Sundance Elementary, Los Lunas Middle School, Valencia Middle School, Los Lunas High School and Valencia High School are participating in the National School Breakfast Program for school year 2016-17. If your children attend any of the schools listed above breakfast will be available to them at no charge. All students enrolled at these schools may participate in the breakfast program at no charge to them.

The school breakfast that we serve follows U.S. Department of Agriculture guidelines for healthy school meals. The National School Breakfast Program cannot succeed without your support; please encourage your children to eat school breakfast. All breakfast meals will be served to all students at no charge regardless of the eligibility status. 

In accordance with Federal civil rights law and U.S. Department of Agriculture (U.S.D.A.) civil rights regulations and policies, the U.S.D.A., its Agencies, offices, and employees, and institutions participating in or administering U.S.D.A. programs are prohibited from discriminating based on race, color, national origin, sex, disability, age, or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity in any program or activity conducted or funded by U.S.D.A. 

Persons with disabilities who require alternative means of communication for program information (e.g. Braille, large print, audiotape, American Sign Language, etc.), should contact the Agency (State or local) where they applied for benefits.  Individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing or have speech disabilities may contact USDA through the Federal Relay Service at (800) 877-8339.  Additionally, program information may be made available in languages other than English.

To file a program complaint of discrimination, complete the U.S.D.A. Program Discrimination Complaint Form, (AD-3027) and at any U.S.D.A. office, or write a letter addressed to U.S.D.A. and provide in the letter all of the information requested in the form.
