The mission of Los Lunas Schools is to provide an engaging, high quality education where learning focuses on the whole child and it is the responsibility of each and every one of us to instill the belief that all students can succeed
The Program of Study is designed to guide high school students and parents in the Los Lunas School District in their selection of appropriate course work during high school. Students have the opportunity to choose from a wide selection of course offerings. Important things to look for when using the Program of Study are: freshmen academy, career pathways, course prerequisites, grade level in which the course is offered, school where the course is offered and special fees.
Parents/guardians are encouraged to be a major part of the course selection and registration process. The school can help and guide, but it is parents and guardians who will truly make a positive difference in their student’s education.
Research shows that the graduation rate is higher for students who participate in clubs or sports. Students may become involved by joining a variety of clubs that support their learning and personal growth. Los Lunas Schools also offer numerous athletic programs in which students can participate.
