Summer Learning

Los Lunas Schools is pleased to offer a variety of comprehensive summer learning programs designed to support your student's academic growth and ensure they are prepared for the next school year. We are committed to providing targeted, high-quality instruction throughout the summer months.

Our offerings include:

• Credit Recovery: This program is essential for high school students who need to make up credits for core courses (Math, English, Social Studies, Science) they may have failed. Utilizing a computer-based program, students work to complete 100% of the course with a passing grade to stay on track for graduation.

• Extended School Year (ESY): Designed for students with disabilities who require special education and related services to maintain skills and prevent regression over the summer break, as determined by their Individualized Education Program (IEP).

• Impact Summer Tutoring: This program provides targeted academic support and enrichment, often aligned with specific learning objectives, to help students strengthen foundational skills and boost their confidence before the new school year begins.

We encourage all families to discuss these opportunities with their student's counselor to determine eligibility and enrollment. Our summer programs are a valuable resource for maintaining momentum and achieving academic success!
