William Hays - Interim Athletic Director

William Hays is in his 13th year in education and currently serves as the Interim Director of Athletics for Los Lunas Schools. Over the course of his career, he has held various roles, including secondary educator, varsity football and track coach, academic learning coach, Assistant Principal, and Director of Educational Technology. 

A graduate of New Mexico State University, William earned a Master’s degree in Sports Administration from the University of New Mexico and administrative certification from Eastern New Mexico University. These experiences and credentials contribute to his well-rounded approach to leadership and student success. 

With a deep passion for athletics and education, William emphasizes the importance of teamwork, discipline, and academic achievement. He is dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where student-athletes can excel both on and off the field.
