What Are ParentVUE and StudentVUE?

ParentVUE and StudentVUE give families and students secure access to school information—all in one place.

Parents: View information for all their children with one login

Students: View their own information

Access available on web and mobile

Log In:

1.  Go to the web address provided by your school

2.  Select Parent or Student

3.  Enter your username and password

New to ParentVUE?

• Use your activation key from your school to create an account
• Or select Request Activation (if available)

Forgot your password?

• Click Forgot Password and follow the email instructions

• You can update your email, password, and notification preferences in My Account

Features may vary by school or district. If something in this guide isn’t available, it may not be enabled for your school. Your child’s school can help if you have questions.

REAL-TIME INFORMATION

Parents need just one place and one login to access the latest information for all their children in the same LEA.

Assignment Scores & Grades

See if the student is on track academically or if additional support may be needed. Administrative Information – View attendance and discipline records, conference visits, health office visits, immunization records, transcripts, graduation status, calendars, class schedules, announcements, policy documents, and more.

Class Website Access

Stay current on classroom news, events, and learning resources. Customizable Alerts – Turn on email notifications to receive alerts about school events, attendance, discipline incidents, visits to the school nurse, and scores that fall below a customizable threshold. Special Education Documents – Access a child’s current IEP and progress reports alongside other student information.

TOOLS TO GET THINGS DONE

The ParentVUE portal goes beyond the simple display of information, enabling parents to complete tasks without having to stop by the school office or pick up the phone.

Report Absences

Notify the school of absence dates and reasons and upload a doctor’s note or document related to the absence.

Communicate

Send and receive Synergy Mail messages to teachers and the school without leaving the ParentVUE interface. Synergy Mail automatically translates incoming and outgoing email messages, helping to broaden parent participation no matter what language is spoken at home.

Update Student Information

Enter changes to medical conditions, physician information, and more, subject to school approval.

The ParentVUE mobile apps for iOS and Android help keep parents connected wherever they happen to be – whether that’s work, afterschool activities, or weekend events.

With the StudentVUE® web portal and mobile app, students have all the information and resources they need in one place to support agency and accountability.

REAL-TIME GRADES & MORE

Students can see up-to-the-minute information for class websites, assignment details and due dates, scores and grades, missing assignments, progress toward graduation, their GPA, school and district announcements, attendance and discipline details, and more.

GOOGLE INTEGRATION

Students can turn in assignments completed in Google Drive™ right from StudentVUE. They may also be allowed to upload work directly to Google Classroom™ in LEAs using that solution.

CANVAS INTEGRATION

Synergy integrates with Canvas® so classrooms already using these tools can continue using them.

COMMUNICATION TOOLS

Synergy Mail enables students to quickly and easily correspond with teachers and other school staff.

COURSE RECOMMENDATIONS & REQUESTS

Students can receive teacher course recommendations, submit course requests, and have prerequisites automatically verified.

IEP & PROGRESS REPORTS

Students receiving special education services may view related documents in StudentVUE if permitted by the LEA. MOBILE CONVENIENCE The StudentVUE mobile apps for iOS and Android help keep students connected anytime and anywhere.
