eSports

Los Lunas Schools integrates competitive video gaming into its educational framework through scholastic esports, fostering inclusivity and engagement for students in grades 7-12. Participating in esports classes and clubs offers more than just gaming; it cultivates crucial life skills such as teamwork, communication, strategic thinking, self-regulation and problem-solving. Esports allows students of all backgrounds to connect, build community, and develop valuable digital literacy and technical skills. Recognizing the growing popularity and educational value of esports, Los Lunas Schools emphasizes sportsmanship, academic achievement, and a strong sense of belonging, leading to improved attendance and grades while preparing students for future success.
