What is a Facilities Master Plan?

A Facilities Master Plan (FMP) is a strategic tool Los Lunas Schools uses to identify condition, building systems, demographic, and capacity issues in the district. Based on data and community input, it prioritizes critical projects the district or charter school should undertake to keep their educational spaces functional, comfortable, and usable so that the educators and students can thrive in their school buildings. 

The FMP is a living document approved by the Board of Education. It is good for five years but needs constant monitoring and evaluation as the school district completes projects and identifies new issues. Attached is an overview of the current LLS Facility Master Plan for 2023-2028.
