Preventative Master Plan

images of target, staff; clipboard; magnifying glass, calendar

The Preventive Maintenance Plan (PMP) ensures that Los Lunas Schools facilities meet adequate statewide standards for safety, functionality, and educational suitability. Through proactive planning, design, construction, and maintenance, the program supports durable learning environments and helps the state meet its educational responsibilities.

The PMP is a living document that is reviewed and updated annually to reflect progress toward goals, changes in equipment inventories, and staffing updates. The document outlines how LLS manage maintenance and operational activities.

Having a PMP in place reduces costs by emphasizing proactive, non-reactive maintenance. It improves budget efficiency, enhances facility safety, reduces risk to occupants, and assures the community that district facilities are being responsibly maintained.
