Early Childhood Education
A variety of Early Childhood Programs are available to young children who live within the boundaries of the Los Lunas Schools District. All elementary schools in the district have at least one early childhood program for our young learners. Los Lunas Schools participates in the Continuous Quality Improvement Plan (CQI) through Early Childhood Education and Care Department.
Los Lunas Schools utilizes multiple measures to improve upon the quality of our Early Childhood Programs. Child demographics and assessments, personnel qualifications, administrative practices, classroom assessments, and coaching and monitoring reports are used to evaluate our Early Childhood Programs. The focus is on children's growth, development, and learning and providing students with an equitable opportunity for successfully starting kindergarten.
