BREADCRUMB

Records

Welcome to the Special Services Records Office page. We are here to support you with registering students with special needs and obtaining records for our students with special needs.

All original documents for students' Individualized Education Programs are saved in our Records Database.  All parents/guardians, or adult students, must present a photo ID in order to obtain copies of student files. Additionally, the parent/guardian must be verified through our Student Information System (or in the case of foster care, written proof of guardianship) AND photo ID must be provided.

Records requests are received Monday through Friday from 8:00-4:30 pm. Once the Secretary receives requests, it may take up to 24 hours to complete the request. A typical packet of records sent consists of:

  • Ancillary Evaluations
  • Current Individualized Education Program (IEP)
  • Determination of Eligibility
  • Multidisciplinary/Psycho-educational Evaluation

Other school districts can request student records. These requests must be on official school letterhead in order to process the request. Los Lunas Schools provides records created in our district. Records from other school district(s) must be requested from the other school district(s).
