Provision II for Breakfast

Los Lunas Schools that Participate in Provision II for Breakfast

Los Lunas Schools Student Nutrition Services is participating in the National School Breakfast Provision 2 Program for the 2018-19 school year.

If your children attend Sundance Elementary, Katherine Gallegos Elementary, Bosque Farms Elementary, Los Lunas Middle School, Valencia Middle School, Los Lunas High School or Valencia High School breakfast will be available to them at no charge.  All students enrolled at these schools may participate in the breakfast program at no charge to them.

Studies have shown that children who are not hungry do better in school. By providing breakfast to all children at no charge, we are hoping to create a better learning environment for our students.

The school breakfast that we serve follows U.S. Department of Agriculture guidelines for healthy school meals. The National School Breakfast Program cannot succeed without your support; please encourage your children to eat school breakfast.

Free & Reduced meal applications will still need to be completed for families wanting to qualify for free or reduced school lunches at the schools listed above.
